I'm not sure about this repress or how it was followed through or who by but I spoke to ken nelson (producer) about the initial 2000 release; so you purists know, tracks: A1 to B2, B4 to B6 on the 2000 release were direct-from-tape transfers, not transferred digitally, not messed with, not remastered, not subject to awfull digital filters or pre ringing. A1 to B2, B4 to B6 on the 2000 release are the best possible window to the studio recordings that are available (unless one owns the master tape). How these tracks were handled is especially rare for a millennium release.
